Elgar often reflected on the loss of childhood wonder; later examples of such meditations are found in his incidental music for the children's play The Starlight Express, and the Nursery Suite, dedicated to the two princesses Elizabeth and Margaret (the first of which is the present Queen Elizabeth II).
